I have found adults have luck in progressing significantly within a year in, are belly dance and liturgical dance...but neither of those really fits what I'm looking for. For example, one of the songs I want to dance to is the acoustic version of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls...belly dance doesn't really fit it and liturgical dance seems like it should just be for church and religious music.

Taking the above information into account, what type of dance should I pursue as a 22 year old adult female who has never taken a real dance class ever, who wants to dance to acoustic music?
Thank you.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
